Dhai Saal Ka Saath

... Have been more than equal to Dhai kilo ka haath...

Ok that was a bad PJ. I think ive lost it. Having stayed away from the blog or so long, the words r just not coming out right. But I gotta blog today. Cos today is special. Today my darling Momo turn Dhai saal... 2.5 yrs... 30 months... so sweetie happy 30th month birthday . mwaaahhh... and a Kala Tika to this post and blog.

Where have we been all this while, I wonder. time seems to have just vanished, the days have turned to months and suddenly we are here, with a half year of play school almost done, the festivals done, the weathers changed, the rain come and gone.

And Momo, you have changed a lot too. Your chatter is so sweet to hear. The only things I don’t like to hear are no, and nahi chaiye. you have picked up so many things now, you say and do so many things that make my heart melt(yes I should have captured them in momoirs...sigh..) your interest in music/ dance/ fun/ games etc have increased, while sadly, your interest in books has gone down a bit. You don’t seem to have the patience to sit thru a book. I haven’t been reading too much to you, so im really the one at fault. But there are times when u sit with ur books poring over the pics. Ur love for stories in not consistent. Earlier u used to demand stories at night, but these days u just want songs. Your immunity was fine till abt august, and then things have spiralled down. You have had 4 bouts of severe cold n cough and fever in the last 3 months and 1 bout of terrible hand, foot and mouth infection where you were sadly affected only in the mouth which made eating impossible for a whole week. But we have survived all that and are doin

g ok. The cough is still nagging even as I write this, but you are at school today, which means you are better. The days when you have been ill have been the worst days really. With J and his constant travel, it wasn’t easy taking care of one sick kid. But well, we are better now and I hope we continue this streak and regain all lost health.

Onto happier things, school is going on fine. You have missed a lot of school due to your infections and also late getting up, but you seem happy to go and come back happy and tell me all that you did. And yes, we have started filling out the forms for admissions to bigger schools for next year. So fingers crossed.

(Posting it only today , exactly 24 hrs later, cos just as I was gonna publish yest, got a call from school .the teacher said that you were crying and asked me to pick up. So had to rush. U seemed quite ok , dunno y u were crying.. well we have our good and bad days ,eh?)

btw, an explanation to the dhai kilo ka haath reference. this has happened atleast 4-5 times so far. me n J r flipping channels and sudenly we come across the film damini, and we more often than not, come across the dhai kilo ka haath scene. i dunno how it happens but it always does .imagine, out of all the scnees, we catch only this one... and we have a hearty laugh.
